“The most rewarding aspect of this career is the progress that my patients make in their return to their previous level of function.”

Logan Thorp is a native of Wisconsin Dells who is happy to be back in southcentral Wisconsin, where he can watch the sun rise and set on the Wisconsin River, cheer on the Badgers and Packers, and help his patients meet their goals.

Thorp was encouraged to go into the medical field after witnessing the care and attention that both his mother and grandmother received from their health care providers.

He tries to emulate that personal connection with his own patients. “Many of my patients are in chronic pain, and demonstrating compassion and excitement for them sets the mood for our treatment session,” he said.

Thorp’s career interests include sports medicine/sports injuries, concussion management, vestibular injuries, and orthopedic injuries.

In his free time, he is a passionate football fan who follows both the Badger and Packers. He also enjoys kayaking, duck hunting, ice fishing, weight lifting, and spending time with his friends and family.
