“It’s rewarding to have my patients express their gratitude for helping them recover from an injury, decrease their pain or improve their fun!"
-Jenny Freeman, MPT

After being encouraged by her parents to follow her interests and dreams, Jenny did just that, enrolling in college at the University of Wisconsin- Madison and working until she acquired her Master of Physical Therapy.

“I had also considered working in a research laboratory,” Jenny tells us. “I had briefly considered going to school for my Ph-D.”

Jenny feels that Divine Savior Healthcare’s presence in the community is valuable, not only to us but to the surrounding communities as well.

“Divine Savior Healthcare has a variety of services that it offers to Portage and to all our surrounding areas,” Jenny says. “We are able to successfully combine the small town personality with knowledgeable professionals.”

That small town personality supports some of her core beliefs as well:

“A smile goes a long way,” she says. “I’m a pretty easygoing, easy to get along with, go with the flow type of person. Just remember to always try your hardest and have no regrets.”

Outside of work, Jenny has a big appreciation for the outdoor amenities that we have in our area.

“I love having all of the outdoor recreational activities that are nearby. We have multiple state parks for hiking and camping, bike trails, lakes and rivers for canoeing and boating, cross country skiing, downhill skiing. I love hanging out with my family and exploring the outdoors. I’m trying to find my green thumb with a little gardening lately too,” Jenny says.

Most important to Jenny is managing her time between work and her family.

“I’m raising three wonderful children,” Jenny shares.
