James Shlimovitz, who goes by Jim, is a talented member of the Divine Savior Healthcare rehab team, focusing on sports medicine, physical education and athletic training.

“My high school basketball coach arranged for me to go to a workshop,” Jim tells us. “I fell in love with the profession.”

Jim’s entire college experience was used to fine-tune his training in the field of physical education. After attending the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse, Jim earned a BA in Physical Education with a concentration in Athletic Training and a minor in Coaching Education. Continuing on for his Masters, Jim completed his graduate degree in Physical Education with a minor in Athletic Training.

Jim is proud to be a part of the Divine Savior Healthcare team.

“We really are a comprehensive, first rate medical facility,” Jim explains.  “I am very proud of the work we have done in the business to reduce injuries.”

Outside of work, Jim enjoys golfing, curling and watching his kids in their activities.

“The best advice I was ever given was ‘keep trying and you will succeed,’” Jim tells us.
