MEDICAL IMAGING

Some of the most up-to-date technology for preventive care and diagnostic imaging is right here, right now – at Divine Savior Healthcare. Our goal is to make treatment not only accurate but convenient for you and your family. Our outstanding, certified technologists are available to perform a wide range of diagnostic procedures, most 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

Patients requiring routine imaging procedures need a referral and order from their physician.  Emergency procedures are performed as needed.

Procedures are scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m.  Because we know how important these procedures can be, arrangements can be made to schedule procedures after hours to accommodate special needs.

You’ll likely be pleased to know that a technologist is present in the hospital at all times, whether appointments are scheduled or not. Specialty technologists are on-call for emergency cases as well after hours or on weekends.

Some imaging procedures require preparation. Personalized instructions are provided by your physician’s office.

Computer vision syndrome (CVS) or digital eye strainComputer Vision Syndrome

Computer vision syndrome (CVS) or digital eye strain, can affect anyone who spends three or more hours a day in front of a computer, tablet, e-reader or cell phone.  Many individuals are at risk, including those who “cannot work without a computer.”  And that’s not counting the millions of children, adolescents and adults who spend many hours a day playing screen-based games or using e-readers.  The average American worker spends seven hours a day on the computer, either in the office or working from home.
